- Art Institute of Chicago (6 blocks): houses more than 300,000 works of art and includes among its treasures, American Gothic by Grant Wood, and Edward Hopper's Nighthawks.
- Grant Park (1 mile): Chicago's principal downtown park located between Michigan Avenue and Lake Michigan.
- Sears Tower (2 miles): Standing at 1,450 feet and 100 stories high, this is the tallest building in North America and the third tallest building in the world.
- Field Museum (2 miles): founded to house the biological and anthropological collections assembled for the World's Columbian Exposition of 1893. These objects form the core of the Museum's collections which have grown through worldwide expeditions, exchange, purchase, and gifts to more than twenty million specimens.
- Solder Field (2 miles): Home of the Chicago Bears football team.
- McCormick Place Convention Center (3 miles): one of North America’s premier convention facilities which attracts more than three million visitors annually.
- Lincoln Park Zoo (3 miles): a free, family-oriented wildlife experience in the heart of Chicago with more than 15 exhibits and animal houses.
- Wrigley Field (6 miles): Home to the Chicago Cubs baseball team.
- U.S. Cellular Field (7 miles): Home to the Chicago White Sox baseball team.
